I had tendonitis and was looking for something to ease the pain that wasn't like greasy products that are for sale, and I found on the Internet that by mixing menthol crystals and alcohol you would get a solution that would take pain away. I tried it and it was like a miracle. I pour some on a towel and just leave it on over the aching part for a while and in a few minutes the pain is gone.

Burning menthol crystals is a great way to reduce the dust mites in your house. It also repels bugs of every kind - one whiff of this stuff and they run for their lives! I put a tablespoon or two in a wax burner and vaporize each room for an hour or two. Works wonders, and clears your sinuses too!

EXTREMELY POTENT!! Use very little. I was using these for congestion in an inhailer and should have known better when the menthol took over the whole upstairs...but still I stuck my face in front of it and damn near burnt my nostrils away. Overall..they worked well!

I bought this item to make my own sinus clearing concoction and it was just what I needed. The crystals dissolved in the camphor and eucalyptus and made a strong sinus clearing mix minus the deadly chemicals used in commercial brands. I use cotton facial pads layered with the menthol and then soaked with the camphor and eucalyptus oils in a small lidded container to avoid the oils evaporating so fast. Just NEVER use bare hands to sprinkle the menthol, wear gloves to avoid accidently ingesting it or getting it in your eyes.

I love the smell of this. So STRONG. I put mine in a mason jar. Going to use it tonight for a bath, making a muscle rub and going to add water and put it in a tea light diffuser in my room. I'm excited. Item as described. Came fast! Will buy again.
Just had a bath and what a weird experience! I put in two TEASPOONS of the crystals in my bath and I had the water really hot and the menthol just cooled my body and I had goosebumps and had such a cooling sensation. I think one teaspoon would have been better. I loved it none the less.
